I have purchased the original edition of this product, but have only seen the hot and spicy version on iHerb. If you want a fan of the original, you'll probably like this if you like hot and spicy food. Prices going up a little, so I'll only get once in a while.
A super convenient package which is small in size to fit in my bag but big enough with some added steamed rice to create a meal with good taste for lunch at work. The quality of the ingredients with a good composition healthy ingredients such a lentils which is high in protein which is great for my diet is definitely a benefit than going to a fast food chain. I certainly will give my recommendation for this. I tried the regular one which is also good but the hot spicy recipe is my favourite. I will order again very soon!
I loved both the flavor and texture of this. Very rich and bold seasoning, with different sizes of beans that gave it an interesting mix of textures. This brand has very reliable and high quality curries I think so I’ve bought from them many times. This might be my favorite of the flavors I’ve tried.
My son has just left home to go to university. He loves a good curry, but long hours of study don't leave him much time for complicated recipes. He says that this is a high quality product in a good size package and that it adds great taste to his other ingredients.
These lentils are thick, hearty, and satisfying! They have enough heat to give some tingle to your tongue and where you feel it a little in your throat but it's well balanced and it's not over the top, it keeps you wanting to come back for more. It is great on its own or with rice.
Tasty Bites Madras Lentils is delicious. It is spicy and pairs well with rice and in pitas for a tasty and filling meal. It is quick and easy to prepare and travels conveniently to work or school and ready within about a minute using the cafeteria microwave.
Absolutely incredible dish, so quick and easy, and FULL of flavor! It's definitely spicy but in a hearty way that's perfect for winter in my opinion.

Tastes delicious and love the heat.. i'm always quite cautious when purchasing premade "meals" I always find the taste a bit off,.. but this pouch offers great ingredients and great taste.. perfect with just rice as a source of vegetable protein.. Definitely will order again.. a pantry staple
