I thought I'd try this, even though I'm really not that familiar with Indian cuisine (I'm pretty much housebound), and I found it easy, quick, and quite good. I added it to some organic sprouted brown rice, and it made a complete meal. It had good flavor but wasn't over-spicey and was convenient for an elderly widow.
This was a perfect size for 2 person servings. Well packaged and easy to prepare. Tastes great, excellently spiced. Very easy to use in the microwave.
Really good. Organic too, hence the price. I use this when I don't have time to make seasoning myself. So handy in the kitchen for different kinds of dishes, not only by itself.

This dal is fantastic! It's so easy to make and it's healthy too. The kidney beans and carrots add a great flavor and the tamarind gives it a slight tang. This is a great meal for busy weeknights.
This is very good dal. I like the flavor and consistency very much and my niece who's an expert on Indian cooking on said it was delicious as well. I like that we get our protein as well as fiber in a delicious format.
I knew this was not going to be great, because i have tried this brand before. But the kidney beans anbd carrot caught my attention so why not give it a try. It is just ok.
These weren't bad it just wasn't what I thought. It had a taste similar to cinnamon or something similar. I have never had tamarind before so this was an interesting way to be exposed to it.
