I decided to switch from Spirulina to Chlorella because this is a milder flavor and can be added easily to any drink and can be also sprinkled as a condiment on the salads to provide more savor. Be ready to see a dark green color all over the food, as it is powder from the seaweed .
Ok guys it tastes awful but it never meant to be tasty. I got this product bcz I have gastro problems, annnd I always had iron deficiency, but all supplements I’ve tried, even the top brands, caused constipation issues so I stopped them. I'm writing this review after using chlorella for a couple months now and also after taking a blood test recently my iron level is normal using this product! I add one tea spoon to my pre workout shake and I started out using it once a week only then I increased to 2-3 times per week. This has fixed my iron issue and didn't cause constipation issues
Chlorella is a great antioxidant . I usually prefer tablets but this powder was easier to add to my juices and smoothies. So far I have used it in cucumber lemon juice and in watermelon juice and the kids haven’t notice any changes in the taste. By the way chlorella is one of the safest superfoods to give to kids in small dosages.
