Heard a lot about this cream lately and also about azulene. And probably this brand and the product itself is one of such gold standards with azulene. So I decided to try it, especially considering the upcoming season of retinol, that this thing will not be superfluous. And by the way I was not mistaken because at some point I overdid it:)
Also, the disclaimer (because so many reviewers/bloggers are misleading) - "midnight" is not about the time of application guys, it's just its name and because of the color that azulene gives by the way. Therefore, depending on your preferences and needs, you can apply both in the morning and in the evening, which is also indicated on the package.
I've heard that it's a fairly thick cream and that it might be difficult to use during the day. However, in my opinion, I would not say that it has a very dense texture, it is quite average, it absorbs well and, with the right amount, leaves a fairly natural finish, and no stickiness. So it's suitable for dry, normal and combination skin for a day use for sure.
Well, the main thing is how it works. Since at some point I obviously overdid it with active products and my skin was ready to scream with redness, sensitivity, etc. about it. So this was the best test drive for this product. The cream soothes the skin very well, the redness became less noticeable in a matter of seconds, there was also no stinging, which by the way was from pharmaceutical products, which, as it were, should also soothe the skin. There is moisture, but it is average, and if the skin is dry, then this will definitely not be enough, but this product is probably not about moisturizing in the first place. The composition is wonderful, a lot of peptides, so do not use with direct acids!
I am definitely happy with this purchase and the fact that I chose the tube instead of the can. More volume for the same money and more convenient to use. I hope my review will be useful to someone:)
